    ... the more technical runs are still closed) so it was narrow, crowded and made up of hard pack. The first 100m was not the best way to start skiing! However the conditions improved and we had a good first run.
    The snow conditions on the pistes are mixed to good, the off piste conditions are more varied; with powder, hard pack, bushes, rocks and heavy chop all met at various times!

    ... Toby and Shawn decided to hike to the top of the Männlichen peak. But Bob, Richard, and I took a more "leisurely" course and rode the gondola up to the same peak. After we joined up, we hiked again eyeing incredible vistas, this time from the ridge that stretches between Männlichen and Kleine Scheidegg.
