... gravy and some veges. Was absolutely delicious!! For dessert we had a chocolate cake log, cream, mouse and gelato ice cream cake. After feeling incredibly full we waddled outside and grabbed the nurf guns. We had a massive nurf war in the farm courtyard and it was great. Until o got hit in the eye. But I'm ok! We proceeded to have a game of cricket! It was a lot of fun! Now we are back inside and chilling. Watching a movie. Overall a great ...

Before going to dinner, we headed to the hotel bar, so Colleen could recoup a voucher for a mulled wine that the hotel gave us, and for me, to have a beer. The beer was very tasty. The schnapps was alike a weaker version of grappa, I don't think Colleen enjoyed it that much. After we washed down the schnapps with the espresso we had a quick walk around the Cathedral of Notre Dame, as the markets were closed and the streets were very very quiet. Was a nice way to end the day with a quiet walk through the streets back to the ...

... chocolate covered fruit and all sorts! We went into Strasbourg Cathedral and were in awe of the size of the building. It was massive! There was a nativity scene that told the story of Christmas. Ash lit a candle for her Dad and had a special moment. It was very special. We left the cathedral and continued shopping the markets until we went and had dinner. After dinner we got a free ride on the tram to wait for fab to pick us up. We went back home and ...

... supermarket-bought salmon, prawns and crabs. Our one true restaurant meal was at this far-flung place (if you choose to walk like we did) in Schiltigheim. Aux Quatre Vents was a true gem. We stumbled into a little cosy house, not knowing what was on the menu. We had escargots, rabbit meat, lagsana, spatzle, salad ...
