... by the river.. We make it to another Gasthof where the umbrellas are being set up. We stop for a phenomenal spread of sliced meats and cheese and watch the boats go back and forth. We took a small detour / excursion off the river trail to Eferding... Not sure why :) haha. It was scorching hot and we got lightly roasted but it was beautiful riding through Austrian farmland.. Past paddocks of horses and a lot of cabbage crops. There were also many worker groups ...

When we returned to the bus I went for a bike ride along the river. It was really interesting as everyone was out ...

German and Austrian food seem to be very similar and the only choices in most restaurants. Breaded and deep fried meats of all kinds, lots and lots of potatoes, boiled, fried, and french even in salads, but not how you think, interesting. 65 ...

... there a week later it really would have been colorful. We saw the fountain they played in. The covered tunnel they ran through. The statue they posed in front of. It is hard hearing the truth after seeing it in the movies.

We parked the buses in town and set out with our guide. Having the earpiece is so nice because even if you lag far behind the guide (like I usually do looking at stuff), you still can hear all the interesting tidbits. Naomi is wearing ...
