... a Beaver living in there which we spotted that
evening, we managed to get some pictures although not great pictures
due to our general lake of picture taking skill at night!
We had a good night sleep and the next day decided to stay another
night, mainly because Sarah wanted to go on Beaver watch again that
night, and also because of the good night sleep we had the previous
night! We never saw the Beaver ...
... the next village to dad's home). It's a small world!
Luk, our Program Director, had been taking photos all week and had produced a CD for us to buy. The evening ended with a slide show of some of the photographs, including one of my rear view!
Returned to our cabin (I mean stateroom) to pack. Not an ideal time to be bending down packing a suitcase stored under the bed after all the wine, champage and food!
... in the shade. it was like a furnace by the time in the tent! the weekend had extremely good weather - top temperature was 38 degrees! After a little while we managed to conjure the energy to go for a swim which was so beautiful :-) the lake was surrounded by private property so we had to sneak to people's yard to swim.. But so was everyone else. Then we found an open gate. The lake was so beautiful , each house had a little jetty to jump off ...
... good fish.
Early afternoon, we went back home only to turn around to head over to Potsdam where we met with more relatives to take a two-hour boat ride on the Templiner Lake. It was a very relaxing and scenic boat ride. We even met a famous German movie star on the boat, but nobody could remember his name!

I really like this mural of Holly Golightly on the kitchen door. Apparently it's called a wall tattoo... don't be surprised if Audrey Hepburn turns up on one of my doors at home.
