... with chips and guacamole...SO good.

So New Year's Eve in Valparaiso/Viņa del Mar is one of the biggest celebrations in South America and the world, so we knew we had to get a great spot on the beach early, as people line the beach and the entire city shuts down once the sun sets in order to see the fireworks shot off from the bay. We walked as a group to the beach a few blocks from the hotel and were ...

Having pulled off the nigh impossible coup of getting lost between the office and the front gate we had a quick look at the vineyards and then headed off in search of something to soak up the wine.

Casa Botha, just down the road, looked as good a place as any, although rows of empty tables in ...

We had finally arrived in Chile, home of half of Andrea's heritage and a destination which in our original plans was going to be our first stop around the world. The border crossing was relatively simple, we literally had to step over a sand trench to leave Bolivia and enter the desert of Atacama, Chile. It didn’t take long to explore the cute little tourist town which is now more famous as it is where we got ENGAGED!!!
