We left Pucon in a downpour and by the time we caught the bus for Santiago, we were drenched. However, we pulled off our wet jeans, cuddled down and were very soon fast asleep. It is a very civilised way of travelling.

We had a lovely couple of days back with John and Mitzie in Santiago and were sad to leave them on Friday afternoon when our exchangers from Vina del Mar arrived to collect us and drive us to our new 'home'.

... here.  First the big guy eats what he wants, then he divies up the rest among the group.   Dozens of pelicans are among the spectacle.  But they don't seem effected by anything.  Just peacefully waddle along.  One pelican has a large fish in its beak.  Other pelicans watch jealously.  Not sure why.  It looks pretty painful to me. Wow, it'd be very hard to cover everything here but fortunately, I did pretty well at taking photos of what I ate. Rather than talking about every dish, it'd be easiest to browse the photos and imagine how nice they were.

It's hard to pick out my favorites since they were all pretty good. If I had to pick the top three though, I would say:
