... I decided to meet up with Lia and Theresa to go for a little walk to show Lia around. ... rest of the afternoon making our own way back to the ship. We chose the latter and the four of us made our way to the over 100 year old Cafe Hawelka for coffee and warm plum stuffed buns. Very nice. We parted company to sight-see with the plan to meet up at the Spanish Riding School for a tour. ... that pretty much everything was closed, including the pharmacy I desperately needed. We headed towards the Christmas market on Spittelberg which consists of cute little stalls lining several lanes. ... but I’m realizing now that the time spent sitting and thinking or writing are just as important. I am experiencing the culture as much now sitting at this café as I would walking the streets or touring one of the palaces. These experiences apply to travel, but more importantly teach lessons about how to better live life in general.
