We drove to Vienna and had a driving tour as soon as we arrived. We stopped at the Summer palace of the Habsburgs for an hour. We finished this around 3pm and had the afternoon to explore Vienna. There is so much gold in this apartment as well as on many monuments and buildings through the city. The Palace was used by the monarchy until 1916 during the First World War. ... it appears that this could have once been one of their stores. The building is the right age and the store is the right shape and size. There have been a number of modifications to the windows on either side but the openings are the same size and shape. We are fairly certain that this was the location of one store.
