... The inside was very elegant and it was rather obvious to see why so many writers choose to engage in thought provoking exercises in such a place.
With Meghann gone to catch her flight, my last point of call in Vienna was to go to the top of St Stephens dom, I was expecting to climb it but turns out it is an elevator to the top. The views were nice but it wasn't particularly enjoyable with the rain coming every which way and the wind whipping around the building.

... at the hotel desk. There was only one problem-(actually 2)-we couldn't find the bus stop & it was raining & COLD + windy . After wandering around forever, we went back to hotel to get the map which led us to the right spot near the Hofburg. Through the rain splattered windows, we could see Vienna.

... at the insanely crowded Rathaus market. We moved on quickly, and I was able to scratch the third-to-last item off of my "To Do" list: eating a käsekrainer.

... Hofburg- Home of the Hasburgs, emperors and the like for centuries (16th century I think) it's big grand like an emperors palace should be. St Stephens Cathedral, and a couple of other Museums hust off the Hofburg. Can't start the day without a coffee. So off to the world famous Cafe Sperl.
