... couldn't imagine never seeing my host family again! Saying bye was the hardest thing about this trip, the amount of times we said bye and gave each other hugs were un-countable! There were tears, hugs and sadness, all different emotions from the first day we met them! Hopefully we will make their time in Australia just as incredible as they made it for us! Two hearts

We were very thankful of our 'late' start this morning. For the first time I actually woke to my my alarm, much better than stirring at 5.30! This allows for a relaxing breakfast and a little time to reflect on our day ahead. We joined a music and an art class this morning. Both have a very formal lesson structure, the different components are not so dissimilar to ours - very clear introduction, explicit teaching, application to task, sharing followed by some type of 'real life ...

... in a lane to allow passengers to get in or out. Speed limit for passenger cars is around 100kph. Certain vehicles are not allowed on the highways during peak periods and the cameras seemed to be flashing constantly as we drive along. We headed off to the Tiger Hill Garden. There was quite a deal of walking here with Billy slotting in a number of stops so we could have a break and he gave us a lot of the history of the area. ... at will (regardless of the traffic lights)! Billy is also a very competent English speaker and is very knowledgeable about the areas we are travelling through. There is a lot of construction being carried on - both businesses and accommodation. In some cases this appears to be both (i.e. Sleep where you work). ... This one was on a smaller canal with a man-powered boat, more like what you would see in Venice. How romantic! We couldn’t resist. Our driver even sang us a couple songs. After our lovely canal ride, we went back to our shopping and walking routine, Tammy found some souvenirs, then we went to Pizza Hut for dinner.
