We heard about the history of the family (33 generations) that successfully used diplomacy and friendships to retain ownership of their castle and land. The additional museum held very interesting treasures owned by various family members. This was our favorite castle in Germany. ...

Today we got up and went checked out. I spoke to Pat for a good half an hour because it was my birthday. It was nice.

... docked, we walked back to the center of town to find a nice lunch. We went back to the Hauptmarkt (the main market square) only to find it very busy with weekend produce vendors and lots of people (and tourists) buying groceries and shopping.
