    ... and a little canoodling! Everyone was relaxed and having a great time. BTW...there is NO airconditioning in this hotel! We keep the doors open all the time. They have electronic awnings you put down in the day and a fan at night. Twice birds have flown in the room! The first night I called to ask how to turn the airconditioning on...and they said they had none! It's been comfortable enough and the air smells so pretty but a bit ...

    ... aren't very good, I can hardly hear anything". The old boy looks across and says, "have you tried putting them in your ears?" DOH!
    To be fair, it was late, and she was tired.

    Right, that's it for today, and possibly this year. As we said before, we won't be writing this stuff next year, you'll just have to come out and see these things for yourself.

    My fitbit started to look like a field of edelweiss already at this point and we hadn't even gotten to our final destination yet!

    We ran back out with our fresh meringues and double cream, past the cows (Talia managed to pet one), (Avaia managed to see one poo), to the car and back into the car seats. I…proudly…did not help in the navigation NOR did I touch the GPS and we arrived at our destination promptly ...

    ... nothing but snow on them. And valleys with little Swiss chalets where you swear Heidi (remember that movie staring Shirley Temple?) is going to run out the door. The lower elevations are punctuated with some beautiful waterfalls. Some falling thousands of feet. The bare rock mountains are a geologists delight. Sure can tell plate tectonics was happening here. A man started building the Jungfrau railroad in 1907 and finished it ...
