... friends. I've decided to visit her and Adrian in Berlin because the day of my departure is also her birthday.
I have now more than ever noticed how great tastes a famous Berlin Currywurst. Thank you Adrian and Awa for the nice stay.
Even though I'm pretty tired now, I can enthusiastically attack the next stage of my journey!

We woke up at 4am to catch the 4.50am shuttle bus to Dubrovnik airport. With our flight delayed it ended up being around a 4 hour wait at the airport, so by the time we were on the plane to Berlin we didn't have any trouble falling asleep. We arrived in Berlin and navigated the bus and train system to our apartment in Kreuzberg - a very grungy but hip suburb a bit like Brunswick but with 10 times the graffiti! I walked around the neighbourhood today after breakfast. Went to Alexanderplatz, but most of the shops were closed as it is Sunday. There were lots of other tourists walking around checking out the sites as well. A few of them would come up and ask me for directions, or what something was! Guess I look like a local!
