... Helen is saying no, Louise is saying no (Connor and I are laughing in the backseat). Still the man isn't listening so Louise turns on the windscreen wipers and there is water and foam flying, the wipers are going...and the man finally puts his hands up in defeat and turns towards another car. Thank god - they light is green. We have places to be!!!

And what better way to hang out for the afternoon than a tram ride about the city and some retail ...

... rebooking of train tickets and accommodation, we returned to our Berlin hotel this time smuggling in an extra person. The hotel is quite contemporary and had each of its rooms decorated with a different artists work or theme. The first three nights Zev and I had been in spacious room 308 complete with king sized bed and ultraviolet lights and fluorescing wall art. Booking the extra night we hoped to be back in the same room were there would plenty of room for Tristan ...

We arrived in Berlin on a Saturday night, greeted warmly at the hostel by our best German friend, Isabell. It was so good seeing her! It was like the last three years had gone by at the blink of an eye; nothing had changed. We have just made it to Berlin after small drama trying to get out of Tokyo. We had booked the bus at the Hyatt hotel in Rippongi heights hotel five minutes up the road from Aaron's place (Nishi Azabu), the day before our flight. we got there 6am to sit on the bus for 2 hours to Naritta airport. they had got our booking wrong and only had booked one seat on the bus and the bus was now full no room for me. **** what are we going to do the poor attendant spent he next 20 minutes ...
