        ... We arrived a little early so had a tea. Marc somehow managed to fit in a little cake too. I could hardly stomach a thing after the monster breakfast we had. Although I did take a little berry muffin for the train trip. The trip to Frankfurt was good. I caught the ICE train which is Germany's fastest train. It took 4 and a half hours to get there.         ... So we bought eggplant, mushrooms, zucchini spetzle and pesto and created a masterpiece. I really like these spetzle. Bronnie when I come home, you won't be able to keep me away! We also bought some yummy things for breakfast .. I was staying at Marc's tonight.         ... where he worked for ten years and what happens inside the Messe Berlin fair grounds. This place is enormous and has some interesting history to it. It was designed by Albert Speer in 1936 for Hitler and was home to much footage from "Olympia," the controversial documentary directed by German film maker and Nazi sympathiser Leni Riefenstahl.         Last night it began to snow, and this morning we woke up to very strong winds and snow everywhere! Yay German snow! It was so exciting for both of us to watch and it was a great distraction from my aches and pains.         ... to collect our clothes. It began to storm quite heavily and we became drenched, literally drenched haha Luckily the laundromat was quite hot and steamy and we were able to dry ourselves in no time. we then raced back to the apartment to start preparing for our dinner party wooo hooo!
