... there was so many different varieties of the one kind of fruit and vegetable. I have never seen so many apples, potatoes, onions, capsicums or strawberries in my life! ... doing some work. Apparently they refitted a bathroom with lights because the owner wanted 5 hanging lights instead of 1. It took them most of the day, because apparently marc is a complete perfectionist . Our neighbour then came to join us for a drink and we all sat together and chatted via marc the translator for a good hour or so. Tuesday 14/9/10, 11:19pm, Lieske family kitchen.

Didn't get a chance to write about yesterday so I'll do it now.

Firstly went to the neighbour's place to speak with him a bit. His name is Lota - the retired English teacher. It was pretty weird for me but it was interesting to see inside the house and to speak with him in normal conversational english and to talk about the language/s with someone who understands both. ... Should be interesting! Aaron plans on eating nothing but chocolate once in Brussels for two days he told me today!!
