A travel blog entry by adventurenonni on Feb 18, 2014

Today I spent the day packing my things and waiting for Paul to get home so that I could talk to him and make sure he arrived home safely. He got in at about 1130am Berlin time. He had a pretty good flight and slept for the last leg which was good. I spoke to him in the car driving home to the mountains. After our conversation I Scrubbed the bathroom, oven, kitchen, balcony, made a chocolate cake which I ate entirely by myself and ...

... room! Hahaha We have since decided, particularly after the kind donation from my friends, that we might take this one back to the shop.. It's just a bit too big for us. Our friends here have kindly donated/ lent us their 2 small dome tent which will actually be perfect and we can save a bit of cash. After the long walk, we had a refreshing drink at a roadside bar along Karl Marx Allee (pineapple and mint frappe) we ventured home - this time via the ...

Tuesday 14/9/10, 11:19pm, Lieske family kitchen.

Didn't get a chance to write about yesterday so I'll do it now.

Firstly went to the neighbour's place to speak with him a bit. His name is Lota - the retired English teacher. It was pretty weird for me but it was interesting to see inside the house and to speak with him in normal conversational english and to talk about the language/s with someone who understands both. Also apparently ...
