    Day 214: To the airport!

A travel blog entry by adventurenonni on Feb 19, 2014

... think India is a little paranoid. I am so glad that my visa was accepted. That would be my luck if it wasn't! As soon as I sat down at the gate, the plane began to board, over an hour early! How strange. So I quickly made some calls then hopped on the plane. There we all sat for one hour until the plane was ready to take off. I didn't mind so much.. Because I had the best seat on the entire plane!!! This made my day. I was seated at the very back of the plane in one of 2 ...

Day 212: a sad, sad day

A travel blog entry by adventurenonni on Feb 17, 2014

Today Paul left berlin to fly back home. This was by far the hardest day of the whole trip. I miss him so much already. We have had such a great time together and as much as I am happy for him, I am also so sad to see him go. We didn't get much sleep as Paul was being Paul and packing his bag again and making sure it was the correct weight. We ended up going to sleep at about 12:30 and had to get up at 2am to catch 4 busses to the airport. It was an emotional ...

We enjoyed a burger each with a coffee and continued on our way. It was an excellent find and one which Paul and I must add to our list. They even had vegan burgers ...

It was a very beautiful square..

We then walked all the way to kreuzberg again to visit our favourite organic supermarket and pick up some more supplies for the weekend.. This included : one watermelon, suncream, washing detergent and apple cider.. The essentials ;-)

I could spend all day in that supermarket!! ...

    Day 8... Karl Marx Allee

What a nice feeling it is to have a semi home away from home :-) This morning we spent some time unpacking things and washing our clothes..we also personalised the apartment a little, Paul and I painted a purple feature wall (jokes) Just before lunch time we undertook the challenge of walking to Alenxander Platz from our apartment in Friedrichfelde, along Karl Marx Allee. Combined with a picnic lunch break, a look in a department store and about 40 mins in ...
