... the "Her Majesty's Secret Service" movie in the late 60's.
In case you weren't a fan, they had plenty of notifications of this fact to let you know.

In spite of it being from a package mix, I can tell you that it will likely go down as being the most memorable hot chocolate I ever had at Piz Gloria. Actually make that hot chocolate mixed with Grand Marnier. Hey, the Swiss felt the restaurant needed revolving and I felt the ...
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland trockie... he or she should want one. An education opens doors, and if an education is based around teaching kids how to see problems and see solutions, the innovatie, culturally correct solutions will come, and the outcomes will trump any that foreign projects can try to achieve.
I am also continuing to learn French, both in class and at home. My French class is getting better, and I am slowly learning how to string sentences together. I spent the last few days in ...
Bern, Bern, Switzerland chelseyineurope... German but I keep saying "Danka" and they seem to answer just fine. Though I have been hearing a lot of "Merci" which is French. And "Chao" which is Italian. Long story short....there is no Swiss language.

There seems to be a lot of Swiss pride. There flags are up everywhere and also they have city flags up too. Ex: the city of Bern has a bear on its flag and it looks pretty cool. I wish I bought a little miniature flag but forgot.
Bern, Bern, Switzerland travel_lover87... interview is what got me abroad six years ago. Opting to ditch Engineering fueled all kinds of passion and created room in my life for language. Spring Break '08 convinced me to stay at UK and thus, find myself here. Now I'm presented with a whole new set of thoughts. I have faith that this trip -- this being away from normalcy for an extended period of time -- will give me direction. Some people pray the rosary ...
Bern, Bern, Switzerland spassvogel... on Sunday) to celebrate my farewell. I was actually leaving Saturday, but not everyone was going to be available on Friday night to say goodbye, so Wednesday was our only chance. They took me to a fish restaurant overlooking the lake, where we had a traditional fish dish from the area, mine was with mushrooms and potatoes and it was damn tasty! They didnt have and sauser to drink though, as their grapes werent quite ready yet. But dinner was lovely, and afterwards we walked ...
Bern, Switzerland lovin_apples... location where Peter and Jaqueline got married. Although they call it one of the smaller lakes, any ammount of water in Switzerland is going to be quite large! there are 3 major lakes in the area, all interconnected by canals. The weather was pretty dreary, but the lakes and surroundings were still beautiful, and the old town was bright and colourful with the everpresent window boxes full of flowers, and swiss flags lining the main street. As it was a Sunday most of the ...
Bern, Switzerland lovin_apples... milked early in the morning, go out in the paddock for about 4 hours, then return to the barn and are fed grass, then milked again in the evening. As you will see in the photos, the cows dont go to the grass, the grass comes to them. The farm also has pigs (about 60), who are very cute, and 2 very friendly cats (Bargie is particularly attracted to Alistair, it must be his inner animal). Alistair stayed with the Grossenbacher family in 2002 on his last trip ...
Hindlebank, Switzerland docandsimHello Again! We got in at 8 a.m. (after sleeping with four other people in a tiny space on a night train) Tuesday morning from our trip to Switzerland! Backtracking to the trip there, which was a train ride from the late afternoon into the night, an interesting thing happened...Matthew and I (or, rather, I) had packed for Switzerland the day before. Thinking of the famous skiing in Switzerland, I asked Matthew if he thought it was cold there, but he went "nah, it should be fine" and ...
Bern, Switzerland mattnic... us with it. He had it worked out so minutely (down to which loose cable would cause the first spark), it was almost an anticlimax for him when his dad and I woke refreshed and unharmed. Taking advantage of a soggy following day, we drove across to the border with Liechtenstein. In a farmhouse set amongst misty pine-woods overlooking the tiny princedom we feasted on home-made cheeses, jams, yoghurts, cakes and breads, before walking along the ridge of the ...
Ins, Switzerland helenandeoghan27 August, 2002 So, I sit here with no internet connection (we'll get to that in a minute) and realize it is already the 27th of August. By the time you get this it may even be the 30th or later?!?! Wow, the weeks are flying by. I've kept myself busy over this last month since I wrote. [[ I had a sentence here about how this would be short, etc. but who was I trying to fool? Just read the following at your leisure ]]. In July, we had a spectacular showing up of students for ...
