We made it to Switzerland and met our program director Steven. He seems like a lot of fun and is very personable. (By the way Rosa and george...Steven remembered the both of you)!!!Met a group of folks from Canada and we enjoyed having lunch with them. Bob the only man in the group is a hoot and he's very quick with the one liners. Lunch was a buffet and the food was delicious. They also give you wine at lunch and dinner. After ...

... first 20 minutes or so was a series of steps which seemed never-ending but at least got us up to the highest point as quickly as possible. The rest of the walk was largely spent starfishing against the stone walls to allow people to pass as it is most certainly a one way path with the added risk of precarious drops on one side. Chris was horrified to see a McDonalds in one of the beautiful, historic buildings still ...

... by the current! Hopefully they made it wherever they were going! The rain never stopped while we were riding. But after checking into a hotel and drying off, the rain cleared up and the sun returned. I don't think Switzerland likes us! A helpful tip for those with wet shoes: get a roll of toilet paper and stuff as much of it as you can into your shoes. In the morning, they will be dry. And by the time the hotel realises you have used up all their bog roll, you will be long ...
