We arrived at Dan and Andrea's place yesterday around noon and enjoyed a nice lunch of soup and an Italian pizza at the local (and newly renovated) Italian restaurant a short walk away. We pick up the travel blog having said farewell to Patty and Bob in Amsterdam and following a nice walk in Rembrandt Park by the hotel on Monday morning, we were picked up by our dear Dutch friend of 42 years - Puck and Ben Roncken who served in Moose Jaw in the early 70's where Ben was an exchange instructor pilot. They took us to their home in Roermond where we spent a very enjoyable and relaxing day and a half.

Finally after driving around this city in all directions I parked up right outside the station and went on foot in search of a hotel.

... at junctions! I also do the very ignorant British thing of assuming Paul can understand the signs of every country we are in. I printed out some directions for the hotel we stayed in Breda (in dutch) and expected him to make sense of them. To be fair to him, we made it alright. We got a perfect table seat since we're the 1st in the train and hope with a cup of coffee we will wake up a little more.
