    We arrived at Dan and Andrea's place yesterday around noon and enjoyed a nice lunch of soup and an Italian pizza at the local (and newly renovated) Italian restaurant a short walk away. Dan and Andrea are both working full time and so we took the afternoon yesterday and this morning to explore around the town. We picked up our VW Golf station wagon this afternoon.     We pick up the travel blog having said farewell to Patty and Bob in Amsterdam and following a nice walk in Rembrandt Park by the hotel on Monday morning, we were picked up by our dear Dutch friend of 42 years - Puck and Ben Roncken who served in Moose Jaw in the early 70's where Ben was an exchange instructor pilot. They took us to their home in Roermond where we spent a very enjoyable and relaxing day and a half.

    ... to what i could work out at least.
    I stopped and looked at the satnav and tried to work out exactly where the main city was but I just could not work it out.
    Back through the tunnel around the streets and back through it for a third time.
    Finally after driving around this city in all directions I parked up right outside the station and went on foot in search of a hotel.

I printed out some directions for the hotel we stayed in Breda (in dutch) and expected him to make sense of them. To be fair to him, we made it alright.
