... I'd let that opportunity pass me up!!! As we approached this beautiful valley, Sam told Didi to slow down so that I could take pictures. Didi did even better and stopped the train so that I could get some shots. What a fantastic set of new friends. Sam has invited me back so that he can show me more of his village. One day... My stop is Visp and I need to say goodbye to my new friends. What a train ride! I catch the next connection and sit next to a woman that ...

... their way through the lush grass. It was fantastic. On our way again, we passed the border from France into Switzerland and stopped in a town called St Cergue. We popped into the local shop to buy some water and the boys enjoyed looking at the many Swiss cow souvenirs and we managed to walk out still with only water. As we left the town we watched 3 sheep running down the road being guided by a young man, it seemed they were not meant to be there. We also watched ...

... took loads of photos I have deleted most of them as it was one of those things you have to experience. Photos merely snapshot a tiny bit of a vista and when I review them, not only are they lacking clarity due to motion and speed, but they are missing their context. Have uploaded a bit of video though to try and give an impression. Needless to say it was yet another wonderful experience that we both will treasure.
