      ... here are simply awesome but at this point we are right in the middle of the cloud and not much view is to be had at all.

      Onwards onto the next cableway and the views from here are stunning. Looking down I see people walking along the great ridges and peaks of the mountains below. These walks look fantastic from up here and I am tempted to walk back down this mountain rather than take the cableway.

      ... Paula, Bec, and Jess. The six of us decided to go hiking along the top of the mountain surrounding the quaint village of lauterbrunnen. On our way to catch the cable car to the top for 8 CHF, we stopped by a tourist info station for a map of the mountain and it's waterfalls.       ... and out of Interlaken. We followed a beaut whitewater stream up for some ways and were interested to see about 6 inflatable boats strapped onto a trailer and 2 vans full of young people in hard hats all ready to hit the rapids pull in near the train station. It brought back memories of Missouri and our canoe days. However, that stream was just one long stretch of rapids!
