Winter is certainly not peak season here, but I did see a couple of tour buses and pass a couple of groups being herded around, over the next three days, and I felt very lucky to have my own private tour guides in Georg & Anita :) We spent hours wandering along cobbled streets, through medie aval city walls, past characterful buildings, around stunningly ...

At the airfield we actually got a personal air acrobatics show, as guys were training with small planes. Breath taking. So we passed through more fields and villages (it really seems like half the population of Bavaria are farmers btw) and we joined the Inn river, where a smoother ride was awaiting us. We tried to ...

... On the subject of signs, it's very pleasing to see very few traffic or other signs around, no sign clutter!! There's a lot to like about this part of Germany, the people are helpful, friendly, courteous to cyclists and go quietly about their work. The only downside I can see is their smoking habits, everyone smokes! There are cigarette vending machines in hotels, in the streets and even the side of the road, a pack of twenty costs ...
