We left Sara & Colum's this morning for the second half of our adventure. First major point of interest will be Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. Traveling through west Texas was new territory for us. Enjoyed going through Fredericksburg - advertised as "Peach Country." It lived up to its name. After going through downtown, there were peach roadside stands everywhere. We finally stopped to buy some peaches for the ...

Jeff's family headed back to Newtown PA today. Dad toolk them to the airport at 6:30 AM. They arrived home safely, happy to see temperatures in the 70's. Did you know Giselle hates the heat? No one will ever question her love for her niece. She brought her whole family to TX at the end of July just to see Ailish. We love you too, Giselle! No one can understand like mothers how important it is to get the whole family together. Doing it in Texas was extra ...

The show featured Beluga Whales, pacific white sided dolphins, tropical birds, and aquatic acrobats. One of the acrobats ...

Gathered at Sara & Colum's for breakfast tacos from Dan's Hamburgers. It has become a tradition of ours ever since Chad & Monica introduced them to us. I have yet to have a hamburger from Dan's Hamburgers but they have the best breakfast tacos in town. We spent the day exploring the Splash Parks in Austin. Not sure if the temperature reached100 degrees but it sure seemed like it. The children loved the splash pools and the adults looked for ...

... to the car to go over to the beach area.

When we arrived at the beach area the boys changed into their suits in the car, since none of them wanted to go into the bath room, bugs and things you know. We then headed down the trail to the beach. For those who have never gone there, it is almost a quarter of a mile from the parking lot to the swimming area, all down hill, so you know what that meant after swimming. They walked into the water and managed to ...
