Soon I turn off down the scenic road to Brixen. I travelled this road last year and really enjoyed it. It follows a river much of the way but is extremely rough and is not well kept at all.

The satnav tells me the journey should take about 13 minutes!! Well, those 13 minutes turned into more like 45 minutes. This little journey was ...

... to attempt to capture the incredible scenery that greeted our eyes in literally every direction. Huge towering cliffs - lots of beautiful colors in the rock faces - lush greenery - cows grazing. Just amazing!

The final stretch was rather steep - but you could see this little restaurant way up high on a cliff! Fun to finally arrive! We were hungry by this point and so we ordered a bit of lunch. One table chose ...

And we have a large vehicle! Avi and Colette decided to stay behind this morning. Plenty of restful things to do right here at La Cacciatora!

So - there were two ways to get to this waterfall - by a dirt road or by this hiking ...
