When we woke up we enjoyed a traditional German breakfast of breads, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and different spreads (including lots of nutella) at the hotel. It was delicious and refreshing to be eating vegetables and meat for breakfast. Herrenhausen Castle overlooks the 50 hectare baroque formal garden.
