Great location right in town opposite the town hall. SkyBus stops literally right at the door. Despite being on Queen, it wasn't noisy at all. Check in was swift and they upgraded us for free. Sweeeeet!

It is nice- not fancy, but perfect for what we need. Clean, quiet and the people are all very nice.

This is a very nice hotel in the centre of the town if a bit pricey, it costs 20NZD to get your car parked and internet is 29NZD. The room we had this time was not as nice as the one we had on our first visit. It had a quirky layout with walls at odd angles. It made a change from boring rectangles that city centre hotels suffer from.

The alarm clock went off at 3.15am. Yes - those were my thoughts also! We were down in the hotel lobby waiting for the taxi by 4am, although the desk clerk had to ring the (prebooked) taxi and wake him up as well.

We had been told by Air Tahiti Nui staff, that we should be at the airport for check-in at 4am for our 7.30am flight. This …

... quite Nathan's taste but a bargain of 30 a night! The private room contained a bunk bed with double bed below and single on top. Hopefully no visitors tonight! We dropped our bags then went for a wonder around the city. Rach reminisced of her days in Auckland, where the boat docked and her YWAM days. We enjoyed the beautiful lit up city skyscrapers, seeing the sky tower from afar. The evening ended with a Mexican wrap before returning to the hostel for an early ...
