... Crowland for lunch. It's amazing what you find off the major roads. We had lunch near a small three way bridge that crossed a stream at it's junction with another, hence the need for a three way bridge. It was called Trinity Bridge, and the first bridge on the site dates from the year 970AD (no there's not a number missing from the year). There's a statue on the bridge that is thought to be either Christ, or King Ethelred.

... time we planned and then caught a cab into Heathrow. The bloody M25 was blocked so it took us 1.5hours to travel less than 10kms. Fun fun fun Our flight to Istanbul was on time, Melanie managed to check her luggage in hours early and escape to the lounge.. so a good end to a months holiday as we waved goodbye to her and set off to Turkey anticipating our 7 star cruise... and the Butler of course ...
