    ... loves to drive so he didn't mind and it gave us a chance to see more of Wisconsin which we really enjoyed as well, so not a bad trade off. We just knew ahead of time our experience wouldn't be ideal. In the end though it was a fabulous part of our trip and we were glad we went.

    Arrived yesterday afternoon at Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Staying at a campground where our dear friends Robin and Steve Albertson have a permanent site.     ... I had grown up with this.

    The weather was funny. I think because I was driving either north or south, and the weather system was moving west to east, I kept driving in and out of it. All day long, wipers on...no - wipers intermittent...oops, sunglasses on...sunglasses off...hail...rain...brilliant sunshine..sunshine and rain at the same time...and on and on. No worry about falling asleep at the wheel, with all that fussing going on.
