... cruise, not day 0.
*Graphic paragraph* Anyway, the night proceeded to get a bit more adventurous from Oscars. There was a local (swiss really) named Sid that they were hanging with who wanted to go to a leather bar of sorts called SLM. His goal was to get spanked by some of them (I think all, can't recall). So we wander up the street and down some alley and another alley and open a secret door, etc. I just kind of laughed at how far off the beaten track this ...
... moods. This time yesterday we had still been asleep in The Blue Palace after a 36 hour bender at Glastonbury. I looked out the window as the taxi sped from the North of London to the south. Normally we would never hire a taxi to get to the airport, but we had no choice. The flight was at 6am, and although there were night buses, catching one would have meant more stress and no sleep. Sleep at this point was priceless. We arrived at the airport and handed over 60 quid to ...
Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark jaspergreeneIf you were expecting to hear about our day in Copenhagen, well, we were expecting to tell you all about our day… Instead we had another quiet day at sea.
This morning during breakfast, as we were eating (as can happen during breakfast) Captain Lis came on to announce that our day in Copenhagen was cancelled. Apparently a sustained wind of 30 miles per hour with gusts of 70 miles an hour isn't the best weather to dock a giant cruise ship.

... risk ... there are no other way ... and in the end ... it will worth it. Good luck, have a blast and blow Norway to their knees... I give the torch for now to Orphy... for a moment. I hang out in cold Copenhagen, see couple of dear old friends and have a short night's sleep on my friends sofa. On Thursday morning I fly home... Not easy that either, due to snowy weather ... icy wind too. This is the beginning to an exciting journey indeed. I can feel it...
Copenhagen, Denmark phoinix... town, on the other side of the station, at one of the many McDonalds. Why Maccas? Because they have a promotion that allowed us to get 2 Big Macs for about $10AUD. This offered fantastic value in context of the Danish food market so we accepted this arrangement with open arms. Our final day in Copenhagen was always planned to be curtailed by the evening cruise to Oslo that was due to depart at 5pm. We enjoyed a lazy start for the day, again with breakfast ahead of taking ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark v1213... we were trying to be under that as much as possible. We approached the weighing area and it was amusing to watch the people trying to strip down to their underwear to get down in weight. To my surprise the people ahead of us in line were the American crew. They happened to hear me speaking English and they started talking to me. And I was dumbfounded when they told me they are from Long Beach, CALIFORNIA!! What a small world it is when the only American crew ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark vcruz... the place of the race. So I helped race the signal flags and used my keen eyes with the aid of binoculars to catch the boat numbers as they crossed the finish line. Mårten & Staffan were on the boat, so it was just Mats, Per one of Mårten's friends, and me on the jetty holding court. I am excited about tomorrow because it will be the first time I will be sailing this summer. It is a little cold with the addition of the wind, but I think I will do all right.
Copenhagen, Denmark mikael.schwartz... forthright Tom told me that "Classic" (the name of the beer) was quite nice. Today, I took my first sip and, consequently, my second. This led to a third. Then a fifth. At this point I realised I forgot my fourth sip and had to start over again. Nevertheless, the concluding result was unmistakable...this was a fine beer indeed. Kind of like a less intensely flavoured Hoegaarden. Now I have deliberately waited until now to tell you the price so ...
Copenhagen, Denmark lordcool... Neighboring municipalities are Gentofte, Gladsaxe and Herlev to the north, Rødovre and Hvidovre to the west, and Tårnby to the south. Frederiksberg is located as an enclave within the municipality, and is thus surrounded by Copenhagen. Copenhagen municipality was not merged with other municipalities on January 1, 2007 as the result of nationwide Kommunalreformen ("The Municipal Reform" of 2007). From the Viking Age there was a fishing village by the name of "Havn" (harbour ...
