... What a massive airport. We luckily didn’t have to transfer away from Terminal Five. But it’s so huge that you need to take an automated rail system to go from one set of gates to another. And we needed to go through security again. It was very thorough, and of course, they were quite interested in all my camera gear. It got an individualized going-over, but the officer could not have been nicer and more polite.

... the first trip out to the northern suburbs is not very interesting so when we get back to central we decide that we have had enough for the day and return to the hostel to get warm and dry. On the way back we get provisions for the next few days. We spend the afternoon and evening reading and writing some more blog entries.
