We loved doing the local ferry trips yesterday so decided to continue using them again but this time, explore the many islands that make up the inhabited areas of the Southern Archipelago. It has also been nice not having lots of tourists scrambling around and being with mostly locals going about their normal business.

We took a tram to the West Gothenburg Ferry Terminal at Saltholmen then hopped on ...

Especially at Christmas. I then asked him if they need any staff - so wrote a quick note to John (the owner) and told him I would be willing and able, etc etc and gave my email address. So you never know.

... castle. We knew it was closed but were crossing our fingers we would still be able to drive up to it. We didn't see any gates so up we drove. The groundskeepers were out and gave us the stink eye when we pulled up next to them. Then we realized that the big red sign with a car and "X" through it meant we probably shouldn't have been driving there. Oopsies. No harm done. And we got to see the cool castle place. It was also on the coast so it was ...
