... happy that we have opportunity to still perform those types of shows in Europe as it somewhat rejuvenates and reminds me of what we are doing and what purpose this program serves.

This blog will be short as we have a Vattanfall show tomorrow and I need to get some rest! However my host dad is a great photographer and got some awesome show pictures.

... same time in the evening all of the Christmas lights and candles come on in the center of the city. An organization over it showed us a video of last years event and it looked Beautiful!! For an hour this afternoon the cast walked around downtown and handed out candles for the event. The first year they had it there was 10,000 people in attendance and they are hoping to increase that number.

... a tradition that I am hoping to bring back home with me and integrate into my daily life.

Fika (pronounced as it looks: fi-kah) is a time during the day in Sweden in which people get together to drink coffee or tea (or in my case, hot chocolate) and eat sweets. Sound familiar? Do you ever do this? Yes? Well it's a tradition in Sweden. They set aside time for this every day. And it usually lasts for at least one hour.

We tried to do it all in those last days in the lovely town i called my home for 4 months. It was true it flew by. I am ready to come home to my love of my life and be with my family for christmas. i went to church with Brooke and Jana where we fika'ed for an hour afterwards in the church basement. then went sledding with my amazing roommate and Jana! I will miss this place every once in a while and look back on all that i learned during my time ...
