... to watch the boys play. Another coastal town on the North Sea, we were able to see some of the sights, however the weather was not very cooperative. Instead of being outside, we checked out the Climate House. It is an interesting museum about weather and different parts of the world.

... it was. When we got to the airport we had to get our passports checked (EU and UK citizens don't need to so they have an even faster run) and then the usual security checks. It was getting late and time to start looking for accommodation, so we drove to the city of Odense which is the birth place of the famous children's fairy tale author Hans Christian Anderson. Here we found a room (with bunk beds again) in a hotel chain unique to Denmark (Cabbinn) of budget but new accommodation, with extremely tiny rooms, custom built with everything you need, but just very small.

Exploring Kolding

I would add a phrase of my own, when describing the motley collection of silver and glassware, a ‘beat generation’ exhibit, costumes, portraits and furniture – a phantasmagorical cornucopia.
