Great hotel with beautiful modern rooms. Some good shops around. Close to the airport. Somewhat far from the city. Ride on the bus then half an hour on the train. or 20 min taxi ride.

Library and Allt för Sverige finale

A travel blog entry by sojanet on Dec 08, 2014

I went to the library to check out some arts and crafts books and watched the finale of Allt för Sverige season 4. It was alright. I thought the final challenge should be longer than two tasks! And they had 120 "relatives" gathered for the winner's party. Most of them probably don't know each other or how they are related to the winner! Anyway, another sweet season of AfS is ...

We got there 20 minutes before and saw 4 people in line, so we went to 7-11 to get some munchies (since the concession had closed) and came back to see like 20 people in line! We were seeing a Korean movie called "The Divine Move", about the game baduk (a brainy game played with white and black stones on a board with a grid) and the gambling/mafia world surrounding it. People were playing to save their lives (but often failed, in ...

Today I finally used the hostel sauna. I went before the regular hours, so I got it all to myself! It was really relaxing! Afterwards, I went grocery shopping and read a little. My coworkers baked me and Olle a cake for our birthdays!! (2 days early haha, but they had to bake it while the one room with an oven was open). It tasted amazing- chocolate mousse and raspberry cream cheese frosting :D happy ...

      Taking care of some business!

I set off to take care of some business today! (After waking up at 2pm and having a meeting/Swedish lesson with the manager). Since my transit card is not working, I headed to 7-11 where I bought the card. The cashier scanned it, then told me to go to the central station. The central station was just a few blocks away and bustling with travelers! There is a transit card help office downstairs, and apparently I'm not the only one with ...
