Great hotel with beautiful modern rooms. Some good shops around. Close to the airport. Somewhat far from the city. Ride on the bus then half an hour on the train. or 20 min taxi ride.

But before that, I decided to go recycle my cans and bottles. I was at Hemköp doing my thing, recycling and listening to music on my phone when this tall young guy came up to me and started gesturing. I was like wtf because in Stockholm people do NOT bother you. I thought he might be ...

Almost all of the cousins were there...all of Lotta's, Birgitta's and Simon's children. We missed Lars' boys along with Tommy's son Fredrick and Margareta's son Clas. I hope they will enjoy seeing some of the photos that we took during the day.

Many hands pitched in to make a lovely Fika in the morning and a fine lunch at the local village hall. Olle and Birgitta ...

... interesting and unique shops, while avoiding the hordes of tourists and tacky souvenir shops. A day and a half, though, is not nearly enough time to explore properly, but we made a pretty good go of it. We did quite a bit of wandering that first afternoon/evening, though the old town mostly. But also up into the new part of town with lots of shopping opportunities. Now that I'm getting close to the end, I'm starting to feel a bit more comfortable about spending some money, and ...
