... to the Royal Palace and finished with a few cocktails in the Sky bar of the Radisson Blu hotel which provided a great view over the city.

The following evening we had an interesting restaurant meal with Øvyind and Kristina, including an appetiser of cured whale. On the walk home, we almost tripped over a power cord which was laying across the road, coming from a garage on one side and plugged in to an electric car on the other.

After all that walking, we decided it was time for dinner. While searching, ran across an Italian gelatteria (that served really good espresso by really nice Italians) and asked for restaurant suggestions. ... taking 2 years just to tile the floor and capped off with a 2000 lb chandelier. There wasn't a single white wall in the joint, all having a painting or tapestry covering it. That night it was a ride share and a train to get to Landau, where I would leave from to hike in the Austrian Alps the next day. I could hardly sleep that night.
