... surrounding village looked like it was an affluent area with lots of red painted wooden houses with terraces set around a lovely lake with a fountain. Today was always going to be a long one with about 300 miles and a 3 and a half hour ferry crossing so we rose early 5 am actually and were ready to leave for 6 ish to head over to fredrickhavn to catch the ferry to Gutenberg (pronounced gothenberg) in sweden.
