... was just amazing what they found and have been able to preserve on display. They have studied brains and rebuilt faces from the skeletons. They have even given them names even though they don't have records of who was on it. The museum was especially built to fit the ship and there were 5 levels from which to view the ship from top to bottom. The timber on the ship had to be specially treated to preserve it when it came up out of the water. There were many ...

Back on transit/subway this morning and into the centre of town. We walked along the waterfront to catch the ferry to Bygdoy which is a peninsula across the harbour. Each museum was unique and actually interesting to walk through with an audio guide. I am so old...using audio guides for fun...By the time I was done with all the museums it was almost sunset so I walked over to the Opera House and watched the ...

We ended up having the room to ourselves last night which was awesome because I needed some good sleep. We had a good buffet breakfast in the morning. We got there before the seemingly endless line of huge men with bottomless stomachs. I have no idea where they all came from. Speaking of random men, I guess there actually was a man who snuck into the place last night and somehow slept in an empty room. The girl at reception was really freaked out and four cops came ...
