          ... public events, conferences, exhibitions and weddings. The outside walls of the Castle were originally plastered white to make it look more like a French Chateau.

          Some years later, it was decided, that it looked too french and of course, why should a Swedish Castle look french. Much time and care was then taken to remove the plaster and I have to say it looks better. The bricks much more in keeping with the rest of the town and rightly so with its history.

          Well I'm now safely in Sweden. One think I did learn is that TSA royally sucks and that maybe the Norwegian airport security should teach them how it's done. I say this because all of the checkpoints at LAX (including a manual bag search) and TSA still missed the pocket knife that was in the side pocket of my backpack (but the powdered pre-workout I had with me was nearly considered a threat - I kid you not). Granted I did not intentionally have the knife on me ...

          Next stop Sweden; we'd hoped to make both Orebro and Stockholm but alas…. Time was not on our side. Too much time was taken in the journey and not an emphasis on the destination. We chopped out Stockholm; I’m sure it is a great place to visit but there you have it.

          We nearly made it to Orebro when we found a campground and stopped for the night. We were all hungry and it seemed like good timing.

          ... too!! Mmmm, was delicious having some nice homecooking for once =P Especially since I'm so lazy these days when it comes to cooking! I also finally managed to see Life of Brian for the first time! So a very enjoyable weekend all in all =D

          PS: Got my room bug sprayed on Thursday....hopefully those pesty beg bugs from Venice are all gone by now =S
          PPS: It's -6C and sunset's at 3:30pm and it's not even winter yet!! *gulp*
