... free! Our plan tomorrow is to cycle if either there is no/little rain or if the forecast is good. Currently it says heavy rain all day and the wind is switching overnight to come from the NW which would make tomorrow absolute hell! The cycle trip was from England to Denmark and we have achieved that, tomorrow would only be the icing on the cake and we all know icing isn't ...

The museum first, it was sensational, brilliant interactive displays and a roof top terrace to look out over the two burial mounds with the church ...

... 1913. The results are amazing. The painting is quite naive in style but suits the style of the church.

After visiting the cathedral we went for a wander around the attractive town.

We then moved on further into Denmark to the historic town of Ribe

We woke up to a perfect sunny day without wind and of course that is the day that my bicycle decides to break its chain. Fortunately and thanks to Google we were able to find a bicycle repair shop in nearby Skjern with some really accommodating people, and after waving, pointing and speaking our best Danish we were able to get a new chain fitted and we were soon on our way again.

Skjern is situated on a fiord and the surrounding country side is swampy except for where it has been ...
