    ... light even though it is only 12:30 p.m. As I have heard, the mid day sun reaches a shorter height above the horizon than I'm accustomed to in Toronto.

    Unlike yesterday, there are quite few skiers on the trail today and they ALL pass me. Nearing the halfway point, I see a log shelter open on one side with a fire pit in front. I guess it's for summer camping.
