      ... went to check it out. Unfortunately there was a function on that day so we weren't able to have a sauna. We drove to the top of a hill to see the famous Kuopio tower and ski jumps, but the weather was so gloomy we couldn't see much. Although the trip was a minor disaster because we didn't get to see any of the attractions it was still an amazingly fun trip. The drive home was full of dancing, laughing, lollies, sleeping and ...

      ... marvels of Lapland and Rovaniemi.

      After handing back our warm clothes we made a bid for the pizza shop and picked up some dinner. Pizza and Beer in hand we braved the cold and walked home spending the rest of the night laughing about the huskies and reindeer and remembering how icy cold it was on the back of the snow mobiles.

      It was a great way to end a fantastic trip to Lapland, a place where, if the chance arouse, we would go back to – maybe with a warmer ...

      ... a few bits and pieces ourselves, including a reindeer antler bottle opener, and a bunch of postcards. We also stopped at the official post office of the north pole to send postcards home for xmas. they get some fancy stamp apparently. woo!
      We met the big man himself afterwards, it was free to meet him and have a chat, but a whopping 49 euros for the pictures afterwards. of course we brought them!

      ... computor lab working on homework. Two of our Semo students have gotten sick. I hope I don't...although I did drink the water from the lake...............
      I apologize for the lack of pictures...for I am unable to upload the pictures in the computor lab frommy sim card. Maybe tonight I will save them on my USB....I know this is boring without pictures.

      My hotel is just stone thrown away from this on of the busiest streets of Thailand. When I was booking the hotel, it felt very good idea to get hotel so close the street... But now that I have read more and more, that idea doesn't feel that good anymore :D
