We made a concerted effort today to start early, or at least earlier. Tiina made it very tempting by preparing a delicious traditional breakfast of potato pancakes (served warm with butter was the best, but cheese and peppered ham were also offered as toppings) and blueberry fruit soup (thickened with a little potato flour). Tomi left for work at 7:30. It's a fifteen minute walk for him, but in minus 8 I think Gord and I would freeze to death.
