My first day in Stockholm was cold because Sweden is in the north. It took about 15 minutes to get from the airport to the Scandic Hotel Grand Central. As I settled in my hotel I felt a little bit hungry. I decided to eat at Den Gyldene Freden . After I ate I went back to my hotel.

... walked in the old town also. The churches here charge admission so we did not go in. The other highlight was the city hall. The Nobel prize banquet is here in the gold room! Really made with small gold and semi precious stone mosaic tiles that represent the history of the area and times. Photos will show amazing details.
