    ... we felt it sensible to "park off". Sticking to the back roads and keeping as close to the lake as possible in hope of finding something led us to Dalyan. Dalyan is famed for its tourist attractions most of which are reached by boat taxis.


    The turtles at the river mouth, the mudbaths and the Kaunos archaeological site being some of the more popular stop overs if one takes a day tour.

    ... pride. Wow, these people work hard during the season. Evidently in winter close most of the businesses and ”catch up”. One young girl told us – she catches up on sleep first and then with her family and friends. Another fellow comes here from Armenia each year, for the summer. He said they are Kurdish and very poor.     ... choice for our last evening meal. We had enjoyed other dishes but the speciality dishes requiring "slow cooking" definitely needed to be sampled.
