... it was like to run in the cold (was about 2deg) and ended up getting back to the hotel with my fingernails throbbing from the cold. Shorts and T-shirt were fine, just needed gloves! Really looking forward to getting back into the training when we get home. Pretty much spent the day give the credit card a work out, was plenty of fun. Leather jacket, pants (not leather) and a shirt for me, a couple of Kate Spade handbags and a coat ...

Wow first flight done! 10.5 hours with SO much food- dinner just after midnight, breakfast and Black Doris Plum Kapiti ice-cream!!! So nice flying at night and then amazing views landing in Japan this morning- very chilly first getting off the plane, but in the airport is fine:) Everything is sooo flash and we spent ages just in the bathroom amazed at how strange Japanese ...

... caught the train to Shinagawa and transferred to the Narita Express to the airport. It wasn't easy as we had so much luggage. Once we were on the Narita Express, it was fine. Luckily, there was only one stop between Kawasaki and Shinagawa. There probably wasn't much point arriving earlier to the airport as we couldn't check in before 3 hours.
