After being told our train would take 10 hours from the Thai border, we got into Bangkok after 8:00am. First taxi driver didn't know where we were staying; the second also didn't know but was able to give us a fixed price. Nice.

The hotel had given our room away, they told us we canceled, and we hadn't. After a few questions that the …

After navigating through passport control we left the airport, first person we saw came up to us acting like a nice guy offering a taxi, being young and stupid we accepted this kind gentleman's offer. Friendly place with a nice room, a bit out of our budget at 1200 baht a night but you get quite a lot for your money.
