This is a wonderful place to stay. First and foremost the staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much bother. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and the place is in a great location. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wishing to be comfortable and in a good location.

      Small rooms

We've stopped here before and never had any problems. Although the standard rooms are extremely small and if you're sharing a double, one of you will have to climb over the bed to get to the other side. Don't expect to be able to turn around in the shower either. They also charge for wi-fi by the hour or per day when the majority of surrounding hotels offer it as part of the price. Okay for the price but there are better hotels in the same area with bigger rooms and for less money with more services included.

It was clean, but the shower situation was very random as it was just a shower hanging from the wall but the sink. Me and my friend shared a double room which was tiny and the bathroom was like a cupboard. It was in a good location and was clean, had air con and complimentary water, cabel tv and free wifi. We were only there for a couple of nights but was good value for what we got

Today, I got to see a very different side of the city. Its commercial hub. After a hearty breakfast, I set of to "midtown Siam". I got my first Thai bus. What a pleasant and inexpensive experience.

Khao San road soon disappeared replaced by the shopping malls of midtown Siam. I walked underneath the Skytrain overpass for a while …

Too tired to type. But totally safe and in need of a snooze. Ok feeling a little more refreshed! Stepped out of the taxi from the airport, walked to the river and hopped on the first boat I saw! Literally!! Rode it down this incredibly scenic route until they said last stop. I had no idea where this boat had taken me, but I rode it for 45 minutes …
