    ... said confirmed our fear, adding to it by advising we were 20 minute walk from the bus stop city centre. If we continued walking we would miss our connection so we hailed a cab - lucky to find one and got there with about 10 minutes to spare - whew.

    Our flight got us back to Liverpool at 0525pm, so we had a cuppa in our room and freshened up before heading out to check out 6 Erylmore Road, Mosley Hill where my Grandmother (fathers side) spent her life ...

    ... What happened was that on the first lap one of the pit crew (Geoff or Bruce) hadn't put the chair faring on properly so Rich had to get Dags to pull over on the road to fit it back on properly, this from being told got Dags rather annoyed and he re took off with a serious race face to catch up. Rich thought it was brill and loads more fun having to work harder. Unfortunately on the 2nd lap the bike just cut out and Dags had to coast to a stop, it turned out the kill ...

    ... just raced along as though it was on a flat road surface. Handling was simply outstanding!!

    I finally end up in the ex capital of IOM at the old historic town of Castletown. With mu rather muddy bike parked up I take a walk around this old town. It sure is full of history and has loads to see from castles to churches and a few old lime killins etc

    ... and barometers, none of which I thought were that nice. There was a white chamber pot for 20 pounds that was nice but no date on it and the only other chamber pot was part of a set for 65 pounds so nothing there. Next antique shop was one with cabinets belonging to other people and one person there to show it. So she doesn't always know the stock which was hard 5 years ago when they opened for the Manx people to understand ...
