    ... a campsite in Portoroso. But on heading there, the sat nav in the car decided to die and left us flailing for directions on a Slovenian motorway.     It's nice here - I think more like Greece than Italy. Lots of olive trees, very hot, quite lush & green, but then the architecture is more Venetian style and being so close to Italy must have influence.     We left Carvallion at a leisurely pace this morning, packing up and setting off about 12 noon. Last night I could hear a gospel choir singing in the campsite next door.
