In some parts Kahlan could not even reach the ropes to hold onto, which she got through by holding onto the daughter. ... a perfect fall afternoon with crisp air and very warm sun balanced with cold pints and a great view of the Adriatic Sea.

A stop over at the market for supplies prefaced a return to our hotel for a brief rest before walking north to meet Mia’s folks. We walked north conversing across a gender divide before returned on the other side of the street, the guys walking ahead and the women window shopping, to our hotel.
