      ... I loved the colours of the orange rocks reflecting in the water. Talking to another couple we found out that the ticks we got are quite frequent in the area and usually travel on bobtail skinks. And we definitely saw one yesterday morning before leaving Hutt River. We better stay away from those bobtails from now on.

      Off to Greenough this morning, where we've been told they do an amazing English breakfast ...

      ... tyre to rub on the chassis……..oh dear! All sounds dire to me. Cant go anywhere! We need a new tyre, new springs and some new luck with this trailer!!! Fingers crossed we get all of the above tomorrow! Could have much worse, so we are blessed again but a near-miss. Thanks Guardian Angel yet again!

      Arrived at Geraldton the home of Cray fishing and the WA rock Lobster. After a quick visit to Bunnings and Coles it was off to the fisherman's wharf. Picked up some green king prawns for dinner ( tempura prawns rolled in shredded coconut and fried in peanut oil). The price of crays at the fish co-op vary from $26 - $32 each.

      Today we are heading towards the wildlife sanctuary Waminda. The last 20 years, this project is owned by Ian Morris and his wife Chaliaw. The farm is around 8 hectare which houses 15 different species of animals.

      Ian has opened some of his land for backpackers like us to sleep, eat and get cleaned up. No fee is asked, as only to help feeding some of the animals. We stayed there the night and had a nice time with everybody from the ...
