Savanna is about 100 miles from Charleston and a world away in terms of architecture, genteelness (is that a word??) and cool places to see. The hotel pool then got a quick work out before we went to a local restaurant called Public. If we were locals, we would be there quite regularly. Excellent service and the Shrimp and Grits were fantastic. Emma proudly wore her Elsa dress again.
It would be easy to spend another day or two in Savannah.
