We are leaving Savannah, GA today and sailing directly to the North Central Bahamas.

Drove 100 miles in 2 hours.
Easy drive through low, swampy country. Savannah looks a little beaten up in comparison to Charleston however to my taste it was a more interesting town.
We took a short walk from our hotel to the riverfront area. It was quite touristy however not over bearing and was made up of bars, restaurants, posh hotels and funky clothing stores. We ducked into a bar for ...

The seafood is all very fresh as Savannah isn't far inland from the coast.
We are staying here tonight before heading inland on our way back to Orlando. Just to drive through random places and see some of what the countryside has to offer. The main destination is the Ocala national wildlife park with springs, and a large variety wildlife ranging from birds, to turtles, deer, bears ...

... back in Savannah at our hotel, and then go to dinner. We went to Moon River Brewing Company at MD's request. Good time catching up with each other. Afterwards we walked for a while - the guys went back to the "World of Beer" and MD and I went shopping at Casa de Moda on Broughton Street and got her a cute outfit. Then it was back to the hotel, a little TV watching, then said our goodbyes since we are leaving early in the morning.
