... a mechanical delay. Fortunately, we had given ourselves a nice, cushy, 3 hour layover in ATL, so there was no problem making our Amsterdam connection. After some confusion as to where I could park, I navigated to the 24th floor of tower six ("The King"), where I met the man of the hour at last: Chicka Elloy. A man known for countless smiley faces in e-mails and his general good humour. ... and a tank top are my usual summer uniform. Today momma and I went shopping and bought a number of longer casual dresses to hopefully blend in with the locals. I can't wait to look cute all summer long!
So far I have packed exactly two dresses and one scarf... Hopefully the next time I touch base I will have made a little progress.

I absolutely hate going through security in Europe. Had to take my boots off, but on their little paper booties, had to get patted down….blah, blah, blah. I was a new person when I made it through that menagerie.
