Very filthy room, next to a big homeless shelter. But to be fair they have security and check every guest to ID themselves otherwise they can't go to any of the rooms of the hotel. And the homeless people leave you alone, we didn't get bothered of them, but still not a nice feeling passing the shelter at certain times.

... We watched the Dolphins and their trainers do all sorts of tricks. Unfortunately we couldn't take any photos their performances. Caught up with the gang after they had dinner. I didn't want to eat before big road trip. We went on the Ferris Wheel. The views of the city at night were fantastic. Photos didn't do it justice. We are leaving at 6am tomorrow to head for Orlando......8 hr drive. May stop off somewhere if we get tired! Off to ...

... t think the Americans eat at home, they just go to pubs and restaurants all the time! Left there and decided to catch the underground to a Mall that I heard was quite good shopping. The train was an experience.....a bit unnerving but all went well and I arrived at Lennox Mall! Another disappointment...all specialty, upmarket shops! Show me a KMart or Walmart! No, only expensive shops. Had a look around and ...

... tonight. Activities Georgia aquarium: I had heard great things about this place. It really was one of the best aquariums I have seen, apart from not getting to touch sharks. They had one of those awesome dolphin trick shows like you see on TV. I also got to see beluga whales and whale sharks... The otters were also pretty cool. World of Coca cola: on the list of things to do in Atlanta this is number 2. Atlanta was the first place coca cola was sold and so fittingly has the ...

... the fan zone. Emma had been talking all day about Rory, so was super pleased she could have her photo taken with ‘him’ (a cardboard cutout). Sarah was very happy to have hers taken with Adam Scott. With seats available in the stand on the 18th green (unheard of at a European event) we felt it would be wrong not to make ourselves comfortable. What a great place to see how the players play the final hole and ...

... Utah to the Grand Canyon, and back across the US to Atlanta. I remember driving through endless corn fields in the most boring state of Kansas (sorry Kansas), feeding chipmunks in Rocky Mountain National Park, picking up poop in Yellowstone and asking what it was, seeing Old Faithful, seeing the Grand Canyon, and renting a motel room in Jackson MS that was already occupied - we opened the door and all I remember was ...
