After the movie and presentation, we went outside to the Encampment. We sat in on a discussion of medical treatment for the wounded and sick, got a demonstration of weapons including a cannon that was very noisy. We also stopped by the kitchen and were given a lesson in Dutch oven cooking. Oh, yes, and one soldier tried to enlist Wendell in the Continental Army. Hey, if you signed ...

We gathered at the Community Center for the Retirement Party. Brats, Dogs and Burgers were the main course with pasta salad and potato salad that Dawn prepared. There was also good cold beer thanks to Grandson, Justin. Everyone had a great time, talking about good memories and times together. We got a game of the Cornhole Game started and that stayed active ...

    ... 10am to 4pm

We arrived about 10:30am and was greeted by William Spence, a manager and son of the owners. He was kind enough to provide us with a short tour of the brewery and a tasting outside of regular hours. The brown ale was our favorite from there. I purchased a tasting glass (about 1/2 size of regular pint glass).

Then we were off to Williamsburg, ...
