    ... campground and got ourselves checked. We both were given prescriptions for antibiotics and various cold remedies. We left there and went to CVS to get the prescriptions filled then stopped for lunch at a pancake house (I counted six pancake houses in the span of a mile).     ... not the ones in 1706, at least, I assume not), and they all did an outstanding job. The script came from records of the time. It lasted about an hour, and, at the end, we were asked to vote guilty or not guilty. Barbara voted to acquit; I voted to HANG THE WITCH! The majority voted to acquit.

    The records of the actual trial are incomplete, so there is no record of what happened to her. However, on further research, they found a death notice around 1740 for the woman ...

    ... That’s right. No Colonial Williamsburg for us today. Again. However, we did get tickets for a witch trial tonight, and we went in and saw that. Very interesting, and I didn’t collapse. Oh, the witch was acquitted.

    ... holding up here waiting for a weather window Saturday morning. There is a low approaching Cape Hattress/Cape Fear that is bringing 30-40 kt winds, gusts to 50 with 10-15 ft seas. Fortunately it is nice and comfortable inside with the three heating units running. This also gives us time to go over the boat in greater detail to ensure that everything is ready. With 3 guys on board the boat is looking like a bachelor pad.
