      ... Station , you can ride a trycle from there. ( Negotiable but most of the time , the fare is 150.00 ) better if you have some relatives or friends living there because its really far.

    • The entrance for Biak-na-Bato is around 30.00 for minimum , there is also a fee for parking.
    • Don't forget to buy pasalubong , you can see them everywhere especially if you are in Oriente Trycle Station.

      ... over in the direction of the boat. He was collecting the toll receipt from our rear boatman.

      The river had carved itself a really deep gorge, I would estimate that the sides were generally 50m high, maybe more but I don't want to exaggerate it. For example the fjords in Norway are mighty impressive, this had a similar feel enhanced by the fact the actual river channel was perhaps only 10-15m wide in places.

      ... take us to market. The whole area we covered, our house, school, all the family houses were within a radius of 400m. It was brilliant wandering around the village knowing where everyone lived. All the locals were so friendly and were making our holiday an amazing experience.

      We arrived at the school to find the children practicing for their investiture. Raffy (assistant to the school director - not uncle) sat with us. I asked what he was doing today and ...

But be warned if you stray more than a street or two off Fields at night you have increased your risk of trouble a thousand fold, dont do it. Sleep, eat, party and play on Fields Avenue and you will have a great time, trust me ...
