The wedding was great with a traditional umu and fiafia afterwards. The dancing was so much fun.

The only downfall to the entire trip was the ferry ride back to Upolu. It was way overcrowded and was a bit turbulent. Don't take the first ferry in the morning back to Upolu! Tanu Beach only had cold water showers but that can be lived with. An amazing place ~ would recommend it to anyone.

... tait en fait tous les employés de la banque Westpac qui étaient là pour une journée (voir un week end) organisée pas le comité d'entreprise. Au final il n'y avait pas de fales disponibles pour nous (malgré notre réservation par téléphone le jour d'avant) et les cuisiniers avaient pris quelques jours de repos, donc si on décidait de rester, ce serait pour dormir à la belle étoile et à manger ce qu'on pouvait trouver. Manase est le meilleur endroit pour faire de la plongée sur l'ile de Savai'i et puisque nous sommes désormais accros à la plongée et parce qu'on nous a recommandé de partir en expedition pour une demi journée avec Dive Savai'i on s'est dit que ce pourrait être sympa de partir pour quelques heures en mer. ... que prendre le bus à Samoa n'est en fait pas si compliqué que ça, contrairement aux dires de notre guide). Si tôt le matin il n'y avait pas énormement de monde lorsqu'on est monté dans le bus et on avait tous une place assise. En revanche bien vite, on s'est rendu compte que les choses n'allaient pas rester ainsi. Le bus s'arretait tous les 50 mètres pour prendre de plus en plus de passagers, qui pour la plupart se rendaient à Apia pour le marché pour y vendre leur ...

Mahajäetud küla oli üksjagu trööstitu, kuid õnneks ei olnud selle orkaani ajal inimohvreid ja inimesed on täna ehitanud endale juba uued kodud märksa kõrgemal mägedes. Õhtuks jõudsime oma ööbimiskohta - La Lagota Resorti ning olime parasjagu näljased. Kuna menüü oli rikkalik ja maitsev, siis lubasime endale tõeliselt maitsvaid mereande ja olime endiga väga rahul.

... is very, can't think of the word...umm...desolate, perhaps. Definately a must see if ever visiting Savai'i, I'll say that. When I put pictures up, they won't really do it justice but I hope they do in some way. Ok, that's me done for Samoa. Just back in Apia for three days now and then we fly to NZ, excellent :-) I'm gonna be well confused for a few days I think, because we lose a day :-s We leave at 2:20pm on Sunday and arrive at 6pm on Monday, but the fly is only three and a half hours!!

We arrived to torrential rain but thankfully the weather cleared the following day & we had beautiful sunshine for the rest of our stay. During our time in Savai'i we swam with turtles, stuffed our faces some more, snorkelled, swam & generally relaxed.
