... were out of cars. Out of cars??? How can that be. This was Hertz and I had a confirmed reservation. They said they did have some cars a couple of miles away and they would take us there to pick up our vehicle. After about a half an hour drive we arrived at some off airport sight that had vehicles. ... and vegetables. The next morning before we left we went for a walk along the nearby waterfront, with views of Sicily, just metres away. Our hire car was large by European standards, a Ford Focus wagon, so we hoped there weren't going to be too many tiny roads to negotiate. Off we set, driving along the road that hugged the coast. ... Island). Have a great tour booked.

Had some good theatre shows again, went to a Queen tribute which was pretty good.

Merv tried an expresso today. Been there done that. Don't know how they manage to drink them!. See people at cafes etc. ordering them, seem to swallow them straight down and take off again. Yuck. Think they would be well and truly wired.
