We are one week away! Everything is in order, and we are getting very excited! We've been following the two safari lodges we are going to stay at on social media, and they are posting some great pictures! ... snuff mill was saved from disrepair in the 1930's by a group of local art lovers.
Today it is an authentically restored museum complete with period furniture on twenty three acres of gardens adjacent to a stream.
Our tour unfortunately was a little too early to see the trees in their true autumn ...
... my bus! Yep, the 12:55PM to Providence was the last bus to leave New York, on it holding many disgruntled passengers. It took a lovely 6 hours to travel what normally is a 3-4 hour journey by bus. Too bad I had too much luggage for the train! I can't say it was all bad though, I got to see some little (and not so little) picturesque towns that looked like they were just pulled out from a movie set. Not the mention ...
